Networking and the Inchworm!

Networking has been on my mind a lot lately. I seem to never have enough time to network AND do my artwork. The more networking I do, the more it seems, I fall behind and find more things I have to do. What is the answer???
As I was leaving my house the other day, I looked down and saw an inchworm!
WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH NETWORKING YOU MIGHT ASK???
Well, it reminded me of this old saying:
Inch by Inch Life's a cinch
Yard by yard, it's really hard.
So, the new plan of action is to slow it down a bit. Do the networking as I can without making myself crazy. Allow myself an amount of time each day and then STOP.
Put the fun back into my artwork and not to concentrate soooo much on the selling of it.
Although, I really want and need to sell my work. Hopefully, it will all come, in time.
If you have been "bugged" by this same thing, just remember the INCHWORM!
Have a wonderful day!

It's a Jungle Out There!

It really is a jungle out there! A jungle full of fun animals that I painted on this childs bookcase. Done for a company in my area (The Hollow Fencepost), it is sure to add a great focal point to any childs room. I had a fun time painting these! Of course, I can paint anything that you have in mind for that special person and/or occasion. Just get in touch with me!

Enjoy my pics!

Networking with my old classmates!

The class reunion was great! Why or why did I worry so much? Anyway, we all had a fabulous time and are already planning for the next one, five years down the line! While talking to my old classmates, I had a great opportunity to network with them. (I wasn't really thinking of it that way at the time) but that's what I was doing. I found out a classmate of mine is renovating an old historic home on the Ohio River. He wants me to make at least 16 stained glass windows for his home! What a thrill that is! We will be beginning the project very soon. We are now in the discussion stage of what he is looking for. He has many ideas right now and it is up to me to make it all come together!I will begin with some photos of his home and rooms that the windows will be going into. He wants at least 10 transoms made. I will sketch out some ideas and give some samples of some glass that I have in mind. I am very excited and anxious to get going on this. I will keep you all posted on the progress of the projects.

The Night Before

Less that 20 hours before the big class reunion! My stomach is upset and I can't find ANYTHING to wear!. I'm sure everyone will look much younger and be thinner than me!
I am trying to think of excuses of why I should not attend. I think I may have the flu!. Yes, I'm sure of it now.

Back from a fun vacation

Hi!, Its been a long time since I have blogged. We have just gotten back from a nice vacation to Colorado and Oklahoma to see family and friends. It was a good time. While we were gone I got to go the Denver Botancial Gardens. I am including some of the fun pics that I took while gone.

I am going to try to be more faithful about keeping up with this and finally putting more time into marketing my Changing Designs business. Keep checking back and visit my website at http://www.changingdesigns.com/

Enjoy the pics!
